The race is Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Charleston Park/Shoreline in Mountain View and is sponsored by the Volunteer Center of Silicon Valley. 75% of the funds we raise go directly back to the Museum, and the more team members we have, the more we can raise -- and the more fun we can have.

Activities include a USA Track and Field (USATF) Sanctioned and certified 10K/5K Runs, 5K Walk and 5K Dog Walk. This unique annual community event provides all participants the opportunity to support the work of the Volunteer Center and raise money for community based non-profit organizations. If the run/walk isn't your speed, please cheer us on by making a pledge for our team.

To join in, just register to be on the team (see how below), then send an email to your friends asking them to make a pledge to support you (you can direct them to make their pledges to https://www.active.com/donate/humanrace2008/quilts or you can create your own pledge page through the registration process.)
