A Free Dual Museum Membership.

As a special thank you for being a Visitor Services/Shop Volunteer receive a Free Dual Membership. If you are already a member, you can receive a gift membership for a friend.

To receive your membership you only have to volunteer 5 weekend shifts in the gift shop (17.5 hrs) or 10 Weekday shifts (35 hrs.)

We are delighted that you are considering volunteering at the Museum. We need inspired, passionate people to help create a memorable visitor experience.

Become a Museum Visitor Services/Shop Volunteer and get the satisfaction of being a vital part of your community and helping your local art museum. No prior experience is required but volunteers should be comfortable handling money and enjoy working with the public. Training is provided. We ask for a commitment of at least 2 days per month, which may be split into half-days.

Other opportunities exist for serving on different committees, working on special projects and events, exhibit installations and providing administrative support. Become a Volunteer Docent:
Docents in our Educational Outreach program need no prior experience but should be comfortable presenting to children in the classroom, and be able to provide their own transportation to school sites. We ask a minimum commitment of at least one day per month (usually 3 class visits). For more information about becoming an Educational Outreach volunteer, contact Sylvia Carroll at 408.293.3787.
