Workshop description: In this hands-on workshop Judith Content will share her personal techniques for creating fanciful, silk confections. She will bring her own shibori dyed, silk scraps and a variety of vintage Japanese fabrics for participants to work with. The workshop will explore the basics of silk confectionery construction, as well as decorative embellishments such as machine stitching, hand-stitching, embroidery, collage and beading. This workshop is designed to steer your creativity and curiosity in new and unexpected directions.  A materials fee will cover all supplies needed for this workshop.
