Workshop description: An introduction to the concept of using items you can easily find in a grocery store or forage in your backyard to create natural dyes. We will discuss prepping materials, what works best for natural dyes, and mordants. We’ll create several dye vats that you can test, discuss dye properties, folding and tying techniques to generate interesting patterns and motifs.
