Rent Our Space

The San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles is a 13,000 square foot building located in the heart of the museum district. Our gallery areas are available for rental, and are a fantastic way to support the arts, while offering your guests a beautiful space to get together.

How much space is available to rent?

We offer three gallery spaces that can accommodate up to 200 people. 

What is the cost to rent gallery or event space?

Our non-member rates range from $200 to $175/hour , depending on the time you’d like to rent the space. For members or non-profit organizations, the range is $150 to $100/hour.

Can we rent on holidays?

Our facilities are not available Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day.

What does the rental fee cover?

When you think about the total hours to rent the space, please include the time needed to set up, break down, and clean up.

What else should I know?

We reserve the right to refuse rental of any and all facilities should management determine that a given use may compromise the security of the facilities, or any artwork on display, or that the use is inconsistent with the mission and the interest of the Museum.  Rentals are not allowed for parties open to the general public, for commercial use by private groups, or events for minors where alcohol is served.
